Description: 3/8 mile NASCAR sanctioned oval track and a 1/8 mile drag strip. It was originally a 1/4 mile dirt track named Longview Speedway when it opened in 1948. The current oval track was created after the 1952 season. It held seven NASCAR events from 1958-66, with Richard Petty and Ned Jarrett each winning twice.

In 2006-07, the tracks survived the wrecking ball, when a sale of the property to housing developers fell through due to the decline of the housing market.

Several classes of stock cars race on Saturday nights, while the drag strip is used on Friday nights.
