Texas Thunder Speedway (Birds Eye)
This 1/4 mile dirt oval track was created in 1976. Not to be confused with a track of the same name near Alvin, Texas. It was permanently closed at the end of the 2013 racing season due to urban sprawl. A shopping center has since been built on the land.

It had previously gone by the names Cen-Tex Speedway, Central Texas Speedway, and Stars & Stripes Speedway. Stock cars and modifieds raced here on Saturday nights.
