Analogman's picture Those are the commercial drydocks and shipyards on the Norfolk side of the river. The big ones are owned by Metro Marine. You can see the 6th Fleet command ship, USS Mt. Whitney, tied up to the pier immediately to the southwest of the highway tunnel entrance.
