Description: Towers constructed by Sam Rodia, and a landmark in the cause of protecting "vernacular", "visionary", "folk", "outsider" art and architectural monuments. Watts Towers were saved from demolition in 1959, and are now administered by the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
