In addition to a two-car garage, each home in this planned community has an airplane hangar, connected to the runway of a small airport. While many of the residents are retirees with recreational pilots licenses, some of the residents do commute to work in their airplanes. This is the only such "fly-in" community currently in the Los Angeles County area.
