Your thumbnail actually shows the wrong building. Valley Solvents is two buildings to the east, at the corner, next to the side street. Valley Solvents is the one with all of the tanks in the yard, to the right of the office/warehouse building. The Valley Solvents explosion and fire made for an exciting afternoon in north Fort Worth as all of those tanks outdoors and the many barrels stored in the warehouse burned and exploded in spectacular fireballs and a black smoke column, containing poisonous gases, visible for many miles.

I was there the day of the explosion and there was nothing exciting about it. It was the most unforgettable day of my life. I still wake at nights in sweat thinking about it.
