Good thing that the French Quarter was mostly spared. That's probably the most culturally important area of New Orleans. |

Highly unlikely that this is post-Katrina NOLA. There's no evidence of any damage to the shoreline features, including the very orderly barges tied up on the eastern side of the image. |

While the thumbnail is of a post-Katrina French Quarter, the map it links to, like all the maps showing the hurricane devastation, has since been updated--or pre-dated-- to New Orleans during happier times. |
