École Militaire - Artillerie building (Napoleon-military school) (StreetView)
The École Militaire is a huge military training complex. The school was founded in 1750 by Louis XV and designed by prominent French architect, Ange-Jacques Gabriel.

Napoleon Bonaparte attended the school in 1784 to become an artillary officer. Due to his father's death and loss of income, Napoleon was forced to finish his studies in one year instead of the normal two. Napoleon became the first Corsican to graduate.
