Abandoned Cincinnati Subway

Most major cities have subway systems, and around 1912 Cincinnati Ohio decided to build one for itself. The project progressed considerably but over the years was cut back until it was killed completely in 1948. The taxpayer debt was not fully paid until the mid 1960s.
