Addison Mizner was, perhaps, the most famous architect of South Florida and was the visionary who designed the city of Boca Raton.
Some of his best known designs include:
The Everglades Club - formerly a convalescent retreat and currently a private club.
La Guerida - The former home of Joseph Kennedy and later used as John F. Kennedy's "Winter White House".
El Solano - Mizner's own home which was later owned by both Harold Vanderbilt and John Lennon.
This property was used as Mizner's own office and was a showroom of sorts used to display his different architectural stylings. The building also included a private apartment for Mizner's own use. The building is currently "The Addison", a restaurant and event catering hall.

It was Addison Mizner's office, designed to resemble one of his mansions. He kept a residential apartment for his personal use in the building.
