Akram Ojjeh was a Syria-born Saudi business magnate, arms dealer and art collector. He was the founder of TAG, an international conglomerate of aviation firms, hotels, construction firms and electronics companies which is today run by his sons, among them well-known Mansour Ojjeh.

This 20,000 sqft home was originally built for the Saudi Arabian royal family. Ojjeh purchased it in 1980 and owned it until his death in 1991. His family sold it in 1997.
