This 1989 McLaren MP4/5 was driven by French driver Alain Prost, earning the Formula One drivers championship. He won four races - US Grand Prix (Phoenix), French Grand Prix (Paul Ricard Circuit), British Grand Prix (Silverstone), and Italian Grand Prix (Monza), and he finished second six times.
Along with teammate Ayrton Senna, McLaren dominated the season with 10 wins and the constructors championship.
