Alan Gerry created a small cable station in Liberty, NY in 1956, selling it to Time Warner 4 decades later for $900m. In 1997, Gerry purchased the land that was the site of 1969s Woodstock festival for $1m.
Gerry also owns the 3.63 acre, nearly 11,000 sq/ft home on the property directly to the east with the colonnade of trees.
