The Castle of Allymes is a fortress of the thirteenth century, rebuilt in the sixteenth century. It was requested by the Dauphin of Vienna in order to protect the surrounding villages.

This is the only cexample of a medieval fortress in Bugey region and offers an exceptional point of view. It is classified under the Historic Monuments since 20 July 1960
