American Dream Mall (Largest Mall in America) Future Location

Approved by the state of Florida on 23 APR 2015, developer, Triple Five, was given the "OK" to develop this property in Miami Lakes into, what will be, the largest mall in America. To be named American Dream Mall, in addition to shopping and dining, it will feature an indoor ski slope, an NHL regulation size ice rink, a water park, an observation wheel, amusement park, performing arts theater, mini golf course, movie theaters, a submarine ride, sea lion show, a hotel, and a condo tower all set on 225 acres and will be larger than the 4 million square foot Mall of America, which Triple Five also owns. The developer estimates the project will create between 7,500 and 25,000 new jobs.
