Ancient City of Thamusida

Thamusida is a Roman-Berber river port and city in the northern province of Mauretania Tingtiana in modern-day Morocco. The city was originally a Berber settlement and was occupied by the Romans in the first years under the rule of Augustus. There was also a military camp and smaller city located nearby.
