This 333 1/3 meter track was built in 1977 for the 1978 Commonwealth Games. It is 7 meters wide and banked at 33 degrees in the corners. Plans for a new indoor facility to be built at this location was approved by the local government in 2008.

Adventurous riders can also take to the BMX track located next to the oval.
