Austin Peay State University's Dunn Center

Austin Peay State University's Dunn Center

Clarksville, Tennessee (TN), US
With its 132,000 square feet, the Winfield Dunn Health and Physical Education Building has been the home court of the Govs and Lady Govs since 1973, when ground was broken on the $5.3 million structure. Crowds cheer on Austin Peay’s indoor athletics teams from a 7,535-seat stadium sphere. Named in honor of former Gov. Winfield Dunn, who was a strong supporter of sports and education, the center includes an indoor track, batting cage, multipurpose practice and rehabilitation facilities, APSU’s athletics department and weight and locker rooms. It also houses several classroom-laboratories and the Dave Aaron Arena, which accommodates the University’s basketball and volleyball games and convocation ceremonies.
