This happened early April 2012 and did not get a lot of media coverage in the Western world. Surprised that the imagery community hasn't really been interested. Kashmir region is pretty volatile and there are some interesting spots. Pretty crazy to think that Pakistan and India have fought wars in this mountainous region and high altitude. There are visible artillery emplacements and such military outposts,especially visible on the Pakistani side. Bit more difficult to spot stuff on the Indian side. We need more imagery to get some angles and especially of recent Chinese activities in the region.
