The former "Bomber" Gas Station

in Milwaukee, OR is now in the process of restoring the B-17G that Art Lacey flew in to start his gas station after WWII.

The nose section has been restored and is on display in a Quonset bldg. on the site of the bomber. The pilots compartment is being restored, location unknown. The remainder of the bomber from the rear bulkhead of the pilots compartment remains in it's elevated static location over the former gas pump area.
