An ancestor of mine, Robert Leuchars, lived in the house, with the Luke family in 1841.

The Luke family may have been guests at the House but they did not live there, it was the Ogilvy seat from 1745 until 1930's. The Estate it still partially owned by the Ogilvy's and prior to their arrival the lands were held by the Nairn's.
