The red patio on either side of the center area is known as "The Red Beach." Midshipmen often sunbathe there (or we did back in '81 anyway.)

The big white 'T' in the center is the dining hall where all 400 midshipmen plus guests, visiting teams, officers, etc. all sit down to eat at once.
