Bangkwang is a jail in Nonthaburi Province, Thailand. It is nicknamed "Big Tiger", because the prison "eats people up". It is a harsh prison which handles death row and long-sentence prisoners.


The prison has many foreign prisoners, including Steve Willcox a British Citizen from Leicester currently serving a 33.5 year sentence.

Also the dutch citizen Machiel Kuijt served 9 years in this prison despite there wasn't any evidence against him.
