"The Meineke Car Care Bowl is an NCAA-sanctioned Division I-A post-season college football bowl game that has been played annually at 73,367-seat Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, since 2002. Certified by the NCAA as simply the Queen City Bowl, from 2002 to 2004, the game was known as the Continental Tire Bowl after Continental Tire North America became the title sponsor for the contest."

While being built from 1994-1996, the stadium was named:
Carolinas Stadium

The stadium was renamed Ericsson Stadium and the first game was played on September 14, 1996.

Stadium is currently on its 3rd name in 12 years.
