Barrio Parque Chas

Barrio Parque Chas

Buenos Aires, Argentina (AR)
The mythical neighborhood of Parque Chas (formally a part of the Agronomía district) in Buenos Aires. Its circular scheme usually causes visitors to get lost, passing several times through the same location. Many cab drivers refuse to enter it, as it is reportedly as hard to get out as it is to find a specific address in it.

Its name is, to some extent, famous throughout the world for having inspired the "Parque Chas" comic, scripted by Ricardo Barreiro and drawn by Eduardo Risso, which was edited as a comic book in many countries.

This unusual "barrio" has also inspired several other argentinian writers and musicians.
