The Bartholdi Fountain is a monumental public fountain, designed by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi. The fountain was originally made for the 1876 Centennial Exposition.
Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi (August 2, 1834 – October 4, 1904) was a French sculptor who is best known for designing the Statue of Liberty.
