The location is wrong. It is currently set at Battery 104, also known as Battery John B. Murphy, that housed two 16 inch guns in casemates. Battery Gardner is located in what is now Bailey’s Point, just a little west. It is now all forested but you can see the right coordinates in the Wikipedia link above. If you look really closely on satellite view of Bailey’s Point, you can just barely see a little concrete from where the 12 inch guns once were. It definitely doesn’t help that these forts are not preserved or officially open to the public.
