When Texas Monthly magazine saluted Texas' top 50 barbecue joints six years ago, Amarillo's Beans N Things made the list.

Now, in 2003, Texas Monthly has done it again and Beans N Things is on the list again, one of only 18 places to repeat.

"We have to be doing something right," said Beans N Things owner Shirley Bagley.
