Beer can house

Beer can house

Houston, Texas (TX), US
After retiring in 1968, John Milkovisch kept busy by slowly covering his house with cut-up beer cans. After the house was completed, he moved on to cover the fences and trees. He even created curtains made with the pull tabs. In the end, about 39,000 cans were used.

Years after he and his wife have passed away, the house has been restored and is open to the public.
