Approximately 1 mile to the southeast of Bell Helicopter's Hurst facility is a training area that looks as if it hasn't seen much use lately now that the Alliance facility is open. There are two short "runways" aligned north-south with one longer than the other and several helipads between them.

Those short runways are used for practising autorotation (no power) landings.
