Ben Carpenter is CRT’s Chairman. Mr. Carpenter joined CRT in 2009 from RBS Greenwich Capital, where he was Vice-Chairman and served as Co-Chief Executive Officer and Co-President of RBS from March 2000 until March 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Carpenter was Chief Operating Officer of RBS with responsibility for U.S. Primary Dealership Sales, the Financing Desk, Proprietary Trading, FCM Sales and Floor Operations. Prior to joining RBS, Mr. Carpenter was employed by Morgan Stanley, and began his finance career working at Bankers Trust as a commercial lending officer. Mr. Carpenter holds a B.A. from Bowdoin College.
