Berlin Wall at Freedom Park
The Berlin Wall at Freedom Park. Celebrate the freedom that was restored to Eastern Europe after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Eight pieces of the wall form the largest display of original Berlin Wall pieces outside of Germany. Behind the wall is an original guard tower that once stood less than a mile from "Checkpoint Charlie," the best-known crossing point between East and West Berlin.
