American businessman, author, and philanthropist Bill Gates’ house is a 13,573-square-foot, 6-bedroom, 9-bathroom house in Indian Wells, CA near Palm Desert. He purchased the house in 1999 for $12.5 million. The house is adjacent to a golf course that is part of the prestigious Vintage Club, which carries a $250,000 entrance fee.

Bill Gates owns several impressive properties in addition to the Indian Wells house. His “Xanadu 2.0” mansion in Medina, Washington is valued at $150 million. He purchased the land on Lake Washington in 1988 for $2 million dollars and 7 years and $63 million constructing it. There is a 228-acre ranch in Rancho Santa Fe, California that the Gates family purchased in 2014 for $18 million; a $43-million oceanfront mansion in Del Mar, CA; an $8.7 million horse ranch in Wellington, FL purchased in 2013; a 492-acre ranch in Cody, WY, once owned by Buffalo Bill, purchased in 2009 for $8.9 million; and numerous commercial properties including around half of all the Four Seasons hotels across the globe.

Bill Gates married Melinda French when she began working at Microsoft in 1987. They were married in 1994. They co-founded the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in 2000, through which over $28 billion has been given to charity. Melinda began divorce proceedings in 2019, citing Gates’ relationship with Epstein as one of the reasons. Their divorce was finalized on August 2, 2021. They have three children.
