William Wilson III was one of the San Francisco Bay Area's most prolific developers of commercial real estate. He and his associates developed more than 10 million square feet of property over three decades, including such signature buildings as the headquarters of the Gap in San Francisco, Visa in Foster City and Oracle in Redwood City. Wilson founded commercial developer William Wilson & Associates and co-founded San Mateo's Webcor Builders, one of the region's largest construction firms, and San Francisco development company Wilson Meany Sullivan. He passed away in May of 2013.
