Located on the northern point of Conanicut Island, this lighthouse served as a filming location for the 2012 film "Moonrise Kingdom", starring Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Frances McDormand, Jared Gilman, and Kara Hayward.

This lighthouse provided exterior shots of the home of Walt and Laura Bishop (played by Murray and McDormand) and their four children. Their oldest child, Suzy (Hayward), runs away from home.
