Bleak House (Charles Dickens house, former)

Bleak House is a Grade II listed house which was built in 1801.

The novelist Charles Dickens lived and worked here during the summers holidays between 1837 to 1859. Here Charles Dickens wrote part of his novel David Copperfield.
