Castelldefels, Spain (ES)
BMW today revealed the M5 Touring — a wagon version of its popular M5 sports car. The second-ever “M” station wagon, the 2008 M5 Touring delivers 507 horsepower at 8,250rpm from a 5.0 liter V10 engine, all while providing up to 1,650 litres of cargo space. The M5 Touring will be offered in select European markets, including the U.K., but it’s unclear if it will ever come to American shores.

The M5 Touring shares a virtually identical feature list with its sedan counterpart, including a seven-speed sequential-manual transmission, high-performance wheels and tires, quad exhaust, and a driver-oriented interior. The M5 Touring accelerates to 60 mph just 0.1 seconds slower than the M5 sedan. Without the 155mph electronic limiter the new M5 Touring would be capable of achieving 200mph.
