Bob Seger's House

American musician Bob Seger’s house is an 18,368-square-foot, 8-bedroom, 14-bathroom mansion on 4 acres in Orchard Lake, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. The house features a restored carriage house that has been converted into a music studio, two additional 4-car garages, a game room, golf simulator, and almost 500 feet of lake frontage on Upper Straights Lake. Seger and his wife had lived in a previous home at this location for nearly two decades before purchasing an adjoining lot for $1.2 million, demolishing both houses, and building this home in 2009. The estimated value of the house is $9.6 million.

On October 31, 2021 there was a fire at the home. The fire was confined to a chimney flue and caused damage to the home, including the golf simulator, but nobody was injured.

Bob Seger’s net worth is $60 million. He released a number of hit records in the 1970s and 80s, best known for the songs “Night Moves” and “Old Time Rock and Roll”. He has sold over 75 million albums and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.

Seger was born in Detroit and grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He began playing music as a high-school student in 1961 and formed his famous Silver Bullet Band in 1973.

Seger has been married three times. His first marriage, to Renee Andretti in 1968, lasted less than a year. He was married again in 1987, to Annette Sinclair, also for about one year. He has been with married to his current wife, Juanita Dorricott, since 1993. They have two children together.
