Henry Winkler portrayed Arthur Fonzarelli ("The Fonz") in the TV sitcom "Happy Days" from 1974-84. The show took place in Milwaukee.
In August 2008, a bronze statue of "The Fonz" was unveiled along the Milwaukee River. It was created by bronze sculptor Gerald Sawyer. The debut of the statue was attended by almost the entire cast of the show, including Winkler.
