This 1/3 mile clay oval track closed in 2008. Auto racing at the Bureau County Fairgrounds has dated back to the 1920's. The current track was created in 1981 after several years without a weekly racing program. An old wooden covered grandstand added character to the grounds.

Late model stock cars, modifieds, and street stocks raced here on Friday nights.
