Burnside's Bridge at the Battle of Antietam

Burnside's Bridge is a bridge near Sharpsburg, Maryland that was crucial in the battle of Antietam. The bridge received its name after Union Major General Ambrose Burnside captured the bridge in order to advance against the Confederate's dug in right flank.
