California Foundry History Museum

CALIFORNIA FOUNDRY HISTORY MUSEUM- SACRAMENTO is located in Sacramento at the former McClellan Air Force Base and includes a wide variety of beautifully displayed photos and written history dating back 150 years to the Gold Rush--the beginning of the state's rich foundry history. The lobby museum offers a wealth of visual displays and information about the casting process, general California foundry history, and castings used in transportation, defense, water control, and recycling.
