Description:This 6000 seat arena was built in 1950 for the Johnstown Jets of the Eastern Hockey League. The Johnstown Chiefs ECHL team called this arena home from 1988-2010. In 2003, an $8 million renovation project was completed on the building.

Many scenes of the 1977 Paul Newman movie "Slap Shot" were filmed in this arena and around the city.
