Camden - The Abandoned City #20 (StreetView)
Camden, New Jersey, was a hub of manufacturing and industry for many decades. An east coast centre credited with creating some of the nation's largest warships.
Today it is just a shadow of its former self.

The population has decreased from 125,000 in 1950 to 77,000 in 2010.

36.1% of the population lives below the poverty line, including 50.3% of those under age 18 (2010).

With 2,333 violent crimes per 100,000 people (2008) it ranks among the most dangerous cities in the USA.
