The castle-palace known as “Buen Amor”, built in the second half of the 15th century by Alonso de Fonseca, Bishop of Ávila,formerly Archbishop of Compostela, as a contry house, is situated in this town in the north of the province of Salamanca, close to Zamora.

It has a square floor, with square towers on his corners with round angles surrounded by an exterior moat. Inside there are two floors of living quarters, with columns and Goghic and Renaissance segmental arches.
