The really odd thing about this is that the pentagon-shaped building is clearly visible as a Howard Johnson's Hotel in BEV. There's been forum chatter over similar "intentionally altered" maps from NY that came to the conclusion that immediately following 9/11, the censors were a little heavy handed when it came to NY airports, and have since eased off a bit for the rest of the country.

But from an "operational" standpoint, what does it hide? As far as censorship goes, it's not very effective.
