Central Washington State Fair Raceway

Central Washington State Fair Raceway

Yakima, Washington (WA), US
This 3/8 mile oval track is only used for occasional special events - including touring sprint car series, monster truck shows, and motorcycle races. A one mile track, whose footprint is still visible, was built in the late 1800's for horse racing. Cars began racing on the big track in 1914. A smaller track was created in 1938, and the large track was last used in the 50's. The current track was rebuilt in 2000.
