Champagne Mercier

The house, founded in 1858, produces both vintage and non-vintage cuvee. Mercier owned the original rights to the name Dom Perignon but sold the brand to Moët et Chandon in 1930. Today the house is under the umbrella of the LVMH group. If you have children, this is the most fun visit in Epernay, with its laser-display, descent in a panoramic lift, miniature train ride around the cellars, and the world's largest barrel on view.
