These national standards established a consensus program defined by the U.S. Congress and are now used by U.S. healthcare organizations.

Charles Denham was graduated with a B.M.S. and an M.D. from the University of Alberta. He completed his medical residency in radiation oncology at Baylor College of Medicine. Denham began his career as a radiation oncologist in Austin, Texas.

Dr. Denham has been a Co-Chairman of the National Quality Forum Safe Practices program. He has been a Senior Fellow in the Advanced Leadership Initiative at Harvard University and instructor at the Harvard School of Public Health. He teaches leadership and innovation on the faculty of Harvard Medical School.

He splits his time between Laguna Beach and Cambridge.
