Charles Iowa Colby's House

Charles Iowa Colby, along with his brother Clark, began his career as a home builder and became a successful real estate developer. He was a true visionary, changing the landscape of the west side of Des Moines. Colby served on many boards, including West Bank, Methodist Hospital and Allied Insurance. Charles was also a member of the Des Moines Golf and County Club and Glen Oaks County Club.

Colby passed away in 2006. His widow still owns the property.
